Kim Tak-gu is the eldest son of Gu Il Jong, the chairman of Geosung Foods Enterprise, a legend in the baking industry. Although he is an extremely talented baker and seemed destined to succeed his father as president, Gu Il Jong's family plotted to rob him of his inheritance because he was born to Il Jong's mistress. Takgu's determination to become number one in the baking industry drives him to rebuild his career from scratch despite the many trials he faces.
THE FINAL EPISODE: Kim Tak Gu (Yoon Si Yoon) arranges a board meeting. And during that meeting, he declared that his elder sister Paula is fit to be the next president of the Geosyung Company. Everybody in the meeting did not react. Only Matthew (Joo Won) made a sound and closed the votation. Their plan worked. They have successfully put into position their sister who have long dreamed about it. When the three of them were alone, Paula thanked them but did not show her tears of joy. While Tak Gu said that he will be back to the Pal Bong Bakery to continue his baking there. While Matthew plans to travel. He then immediately went to Eula (Eugene) to let her taste the new bread he made. After hearing her reaction, he told her of his plans. His plans of going to Europe and continue studying how to bake. And he wants her to come.
